Benefits of Brow Lamination
There’s no doubt that a groomed brow can make a big difference in your appearance. If you’re tired of dealing with an unruly and bushy brow, brow lamination may be the answer you’re looking for. This amazing brow treatment is becoming increasingly popular as more people are looking for an approach to brows that is low-maintenance and long-lasting for them to achieve their ultimate eyebrow goals!
Brow lamination is essentially a treatment for your brows that helps smooth out the hair and keep it in place, giving you perfect and beautiful brows to rock on throughout the weeks.
Among the benefits of the brow, lamination makes your natural eyebrows look fuller and thicker by pulling the hairs vertically. The lamination process is also non-invasive and does not affect your natural hair growth cycle.
After getting this treatment, you won’t have to spend another 30 minutes of your time to have perfect brows. Brow lamination lets you wake up, brush your pair of fluffy brows, and you’re good to go.
Brow Sculpting & Tinting FAQs
Are there any side effects?
There is always a risk of adverse reactions when applying chemicals to the body. While eyebrow lamination isn’t invasive like some other procedures, there will still come side effects such as redness, swelling, peeling, and itching above or below the eyebrow area.
When the chemical solution is applied, you may feel a slight tingling sensation, but it should not be painful. If it is, notify any of our brow tech right away. Suppose you have sensitive skin, rosacea, eczema, contact dermatitis, or any other concerns. In that case, an alternative brow treatment may be preferable. You can always request a patch test before your appointment.
How long does it last?
Your brow lamination will last for weeks. If you have fine brow hairs & unruly brows, you may require more appointments frequently to maintain the perfect shape from time to time. Remember that your hair life cycle will affect longevity, as your brow hairs will naturally fall out. However, the goal is to train your brow hairs to grow in the desired direction. As a result, with regular treatments, you should be able to have the fluffy and fuller brow that you’ve always wanted.
Who is best suited for brow lamination?
Everyone can benefit from brow lamination. However, if you have notably unruly natural brow hair that grows in different directions, you’ll notice the greatest difference and best results of laminated brows. Straightening and brushing can also help hide imperfections and create the illusion of fuller and fluffier brows, ideal for people with patchy or fine brows. Finally, it’s an excellent choice for anyone wary of more intense brow treatments like micro shading or micro blading.
How long before you can shower after treatment
Avoid getting your brows wet for the first 24 hours after the treatment, specifically no showers, hot baths, swimming, or saunas.
How do I care for my eyebrows after the treatment?
- For the next 24 hours, avoid wearing makeup or receiving any other eye treatments.
- Don’t touch or rub your eyes after every treatment.
- For the next 24 hours, avoid contact with water, moisture, or hot temperatures & steamy showers.
- Don’t put on contact lenses for the next 24 hours.
- Every day, use a spoolie brush to comb the brows or lashes upward.
- Sleep on your back for one to two days following the treatment. This is to prevent the pillow from deforming the brows or lashes.
- Apply a cold, dampened cotton pad, cold compress, or cooling spray to relieve stinging or swelling. If the condition worsens, seek medical attention and notify the brow artist so that it can be noted on your record.
